Ambata, this poem is heartbreakingly beautiful. You've articulated so perfectly the feeling I have whenever I want to complain about something mundane, next to the horrors of the peace they can't live.

adored this poem. Read it to my husband last night and we both marveled at how brilliant and devastating it was

Your poem is a lovely way of showing up in the moment, specific and universal at the same time.

Ambata -- I've come here at the recommendation of Noha Beshir. The gratitude welling up in me for this piece (peace) is strong and abundant. Thank you so much for reminding so many of the what, exactly, it is that we have.

Oh that image, and that image (so sad your neighbour couldn’t move beyond his grief to see the beauty of the flowers). Beautiful poem

This piece is stunning. I was just talking to a friend about freeing ourselves of scarcity mindsets and complaining when we have more than we actually need. Safe, warm places to land and food to eat. This poem really drives that home for me. It also is a moving tribute to those who are suffering.
